  • @PaperChayne You *can* have an F statistic less than 1. Just look at the distribution. The way this guy set up the F statistic fraction was incorrect. An F statistic less than 1 just means that the the between group variance is smaller than the within group variance, which is more often true when the null is true.

  • @superoriginalname May be too late but the F value can never be below 1, and when it is bigger than 1 it disproves the Ho.

  • Question, to prove that H1 is true F has to be greater than 1. My question is that due to variance being squared, can F1 be ever less than 1 to disprove Ho?

    I'm a student from Moldova in the 3rd year.. . and i know it would be impossible for me to have taken such courses in the first year.

    Go take some basic statistics before watching these videos!

    I love this guy's courses! He explains well, and ... sometimes he says hilarious stuff! :) But he's good!
