@Sukuun I agree Agler got out coached but i would give him maybe one more yr bc really he leads them to a good regular season but they can never get out of the first round. If there's failure next yr then maybe look for a new coach

@Sukuun I agree that he needs to play the bench more but i don't think he should be fired. He's a great coach he just needs to change some of his methods. Also honestly him playing the bench wouldn't have mattered much because Seattle bench was horrible he def dropped the ball when he put the bench together.

@Sukuun yes it would have killed them, especially with diana and dupree still in the game at the point. everyone was in foul trouble because that game was overtly physical. it was as intense as it gets. but u just got to ride it out. and it was a close game throughout the 4th. its very hard to take i guess caz the storm were at home, whooped em' coming out, had diana out, but these teams are so close. i know i keep saying it, but they are the class of the league. cant fire agler over it.

@CardinalJiles "everyone was in foul trouble". There's my point. He didn't play enough of a rotation. Would it have KILLED Agler to play Ewelina Kobryn or Allie Quigley for maybe 4 minutes in that third quarter when everyone was racking up fouls, instead of playing Tanisha and Camille to death? We'll never know.

@Sukuun again the mercury are a great team with a great coach. gaines has a ring too. they were whoppin the merc's ass in the first half. lauren was hurt, and because the refs were calling it tight, everyone was in foul trouble. in a game 3, the storm cant just go to the bench, grab size AND size that can play. they dont have depth like that. also keep in mind that the game was close for the 4th. no reason to fire agler. c'mon, u have some basketball knowledge, ur better than that.

@noonevincecarterfan true

@CardinalJiles He also got outcoached by Corey Gaines. How do the Mercury make the simple adjustment of just switching to a big lineup and use that to make up 19 points just like that. The former coach of the year couldn't come up with a response to that adjustment? Really?
My gut is telling me it's time for the Storm to consider a new coach. No matter how crappy your subs are, at least play them in the regular season so you won't KILL your starters by the time the playoffs arrive. Lauren and the others had absolutely nothing left. No matter how physically desperate for bodies Brian Agler was, he would never, ever, ever play bench players while LJ was out. He would only play a 7 woman rotation at all times.
