The Hmong war song

This song is dedicated to our beloved General Vang Pao, who paves the way for the Hmong. His dedication, his compassion and his love for his people. This song is also a tribute to all the Hmong heroes (our grandparents, our fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts) who died in honor for freedom. Our parents made a life and death decision to cross the perilous Mekong for freedom. Many of our relatives were shot and drowned at the riverbank. Hundreds of Hmong babies were quietly poison with a small dose of opium to save the rest. Thousands were massacred in their villages. Women were raped, Children were throwned into wall, Men were multilated, elderly people were killed. Do you remember the plight of your people? Do you know why you are in the United States and around the world? Can you see the tear of your parents? Can you hear the cry of your people? your grandparents, your family members before their death? Do you remember your root?

Don't forget where you came from? Don't blame others and Vang Pao because you have no one to blame your pains and guilts. Your bigotry explains your ignorance and stupidity.

My prayer goes to all the Hmong around the world. Remember where you came from. Some have sacrificed for others to be where they are at now. Our ancestors paid their blood for the sake of their descendants. Freedom is all our people ever wanted.
