Twelve O'Clock High - "You're already dead"

One of the top 3 movies of the late 40s that explored the struggles, challenges, and attributes of leadership. This movie gets 5 stars.

No, it was for a while but runs fairly regularly... Great movie but don't think he would freak out...

For one...
Savage shows up the next day after Keith is relieved of command, and Lt. Zimmerman has committed suicide and they've already had a funeral for him? A bit quick don't you think?

Maybe he was Jewish. They have to bury quickly.

Plus I'd need to see the movie again.

No, not at all! You're nit-picking-the plot of this movie is fabulous.

Not nit picks. Savage comes down to the group in less than 24 hours and
Lt. Zimmerman has already committed suicide and they've held his funeral.
Then, less than 24 hours after Lt. Bishop is put in for a congressional Medal of Honor he is supposed to be assured of it and is treated like he's already been awarded it by the oh so by the book Gen Savage.

Dude! It's a movie, not real life. Maybe Zimmerman's memorial service was held the next day because his body was being shipped home for burial. In movies, action that relies on time passage has to be condensed, or the movie wouldn't run in 2 hours, it would take 20. You have to have an understanding of how motion pictures are made and why they're made that way.
