Was actually going to take a break today from making videos, but someone had asked me of my thoughts on education, and I figured it was worthy of a response. So, here it is.

I really like that! I'm working out a plan for a private system that aids homeschoolers and pays them for their time if they choose to teach a class. I even like the pay grade idea, though I think it could use some refinement.

I'm getting a lot of great ideas from people on this subject. The agorist ideal is to outcompete the government,so hell, keep those ideas flowin' people!

An unbiased opinion is an oxymoron! I was NOT homeschooled per se, but I was at an early age. Public school undid a lot of the good that my parents did, for a while. But they gav e me a lust for learning that never went away. My real education came at my own hands, eyes, and ears. And it will never end. I fully agree with Sword sage on this: If high school was the best time of your life, your life REALLY SUCKS! I'm surprised that I neither murdered nor maimed most of the kids in high school.

when ever I sit in class or lisen to my friends talk about their classes I hear about teachers who treat students like shit or I see students who treat school like one big joke. Now I think the students should respect the teachers for wanting to teach and the teachers should respect the students for wanting to learn but when students are forced by law to attend its hard to see things this way unless the teacher and student know each other personaly this is why I think home schooling is best

About the parents though, the way things are setup now, there is pretty much no time for parents to do what they would like to with, and for their kids like they used to. This could be what the gov wants though...

I personally believe the eductional system should be private with the choices of private schools or homeschooling options. We don't need the government to intervene in our children's education. The teachers' pay shuld be based on results instead of salaries. Why the hell should they get paid in spite of studens failing. It should be based on %s; exam. teachers pay is based for each student passing & no pay for each student failing. 65%passed = $s & 35% failing = 0$s. As simple as that.

I think private schools would actually be cheaper for most people if it weren't for taxes... but then what wouldn't be cheaper without taxes, hehe. I don't care about fixing the education system. I'll leave that to other people who have a passion for it. I'm only concerned about myself and self-learning works best for me. I agree with you about the social aspect of school, it kind of sucked. But I also got to meet some great people, so it's OK in the end IMO.

Social Security you actually lose money , compared to Stocks , Bonds , Savings , etc , But americans really aren't smart enough for those , and they get laid off then it throws there financial plans out of whack , or they start taking money out. Social Security avoids all of that. Self-investing is on the for the responsible , mediocre intelligent individuals :)
