i have a little question for christianity : if god created adam and eva and adam and eva created all the other humans, they were white, and if all people were they're children then how did black people exist? then you will probbably answere "oh no they adapted to they're warm climat" well.. then your saying that adam and eva didn't exist and that charles darwin was right about evolution? beacuse i thought christians said he wasn't right? please reply.

@ImTheWiseGuy What Helptheherd is talking about is "perseverance of the saints" not "One True Scotsman Fallacy". It is Biblical doctrine that says once someone is saved they cannot become "unsaved" John 10:28; so if someone claims to have been a Christian and is now an atheist they never were a Christian (By God's standards). "Scotsmen" is used as an illogical "cop-out", if you will, to defend a group, i.e. Scots, You were too hasty and missed his/her meaning.

@DoneWithDogma You say "stuff happens". You are completely denying the blatant truth. My friend had fibromyalgia for years, and it instantly stopped at the moment we laid hands on her to heal her. There is no denying that she is from a medical, emotional, and physical stand point, CURED of her fibromyalgia. What explanation can you give for that?

I will not pretend to know God's will, but as for your friend, you say all of your church prayed. But what did they pray? For God's will, or theirs?

@RecycledMana it's very cynical to think that some superbeing healed your friend of fibromyalgia, and got your dad a job. I was a christian when my friend was in a car accident, me and my entire church prayed for weeks while he was in the hospital until he succumbed to his injuries, why did god answer your prayers and not mine? The answer is that god doesn't answer prayers, shit happens, that's it. I still can't believe that I used to be as arrogant as you are.

@Helptheherd The point she was making was that atheists lack humility before God because we don't believe in God. Do you have humility before Odin or Allah? No, of course not, because you don't believe in them.

@LLOYD19851012 And when I say answered, I mean immediately. The Lord is a personal God. He doesn't sit up high and lofty in the clouds. He seeks to be close to us, because He loves us far more than some will know, more than others will accept. He has brought about so many changes in my life when I actually started seeking Him. I don't mean going to church and just reading my Bible. I mean actually wanting to know who He is, and what His plan for me is. I am happy and cared for by my God.
