King Diamond - Visit from the dead - Guitar Cover

One of my favorite songs from King Diamond's Conspiracy Album. I've been a KD fan since the early 90s and always enjoyed both, compositions and lyrics. Andy LaRoque is one of my favorite guitarists of all time. He uses harmonies in a very unique way and is an insane shredder. His style of playing is very hard to reroduce, I tried my best...
This is the first recording I did with my POD X3 pro. I'm still playing around with the settigns and have to get a bit more used to the new available options but so far I'm really happy with this piece of equipment.
The backing track I used (bass + drums) were converted from a GP tab file. No vocals on this one.

My advice is plug into a real tube amplifier and run your pod X3 pro through it...Then you will get that La Roque sound! It's the tube drive that is missing, but you have the sound mostly nailed...I've messed around with the pro line pod stuff for years until I got my tube amp and that makes a huge difference. Hope this helps, otherwise great playing and a delight as I am a huge King Diamond fan!

@Asphyx123 Oh, awesome man! I just subscribed to your channel and would love to perhaps give it a shot singing on it...I'm more of a King Diamon/Crimson Glory influenced vocalist, but I know King Diamond real well. I did a cover long time ago of "Sleepless Nights" also on POD X3 PRO. You blow me away as far as guitar skill though! So keep up the good work and I will give that cover a shot! :)
