I have a hard on for the metric system. Besides the United States, only for Burma and Liberia have not adopted the metric system. I usually don't care what the rest of the world does. But the metric system is a no brainer.

I finally figured out why so many chicos refuse to speak English. It is because many of them can't read or write Spanish. So reading and writing English is out of the question for them. Immigrants who are economically successful don't need to be convinced to speak English. If I moved to a foreign country I would make every effort to learn their language. And I sure as hell would not think they are obligated to use my language.

Thats fucking cool,but what about the people who can't get the proper education they need to speak english because they are the minority and you government makes it impossible to become a citizen? It wasn't great that early colonizers forced their culture on others around the world. But look, we're in the future now. I immigrated to the U.S as an Asian Indian. My family and I didn't hesitate to become English speakers and we STILL speak our native language Hindi. Yes the U.S is one of the countries in the western hemisphere that embraces diversity. But don't you leftist retarded tree hippie punks realize that when you immigrate to other countries, you're expected to learn their languages!
