How to make a paracord bracelet with a fishing kit inside. In this "how-to" video I share an idea that I developed to integrate fishing tackle into a standard, cobra weave paracord survival bracelet while still maintaining the original look, feel, and functionality of the bracelet. This survival bracelet includes standard 7 strand 550 cord, 25 feet of braided fishing line, split-shot weights, and 2 fishing hooks. I demonstrate the entire making of this "fishing bracelet" in a step by step manner so that you can make one for yourself if you so desire. While the inner strands of paracord can be used for fishing line in an emergency, nothing beats the real thing... and the addition of hooks and sinkers could be invaluable! As an added benefit, you can utilize the braided fishing line in situations where smaller cordage is needed without sacrificing your main length of 550 cord. As you can see in this video there is virtually no difference between a standard paracord survival bracelet and the bracelet I made which includes the fishing tackle. I hope you find this information useful!

* I also created a paracord bracelet which incorporates a few small survival items. If you are interested in seeing a demo on this, please feel free to let me know. Thanks!

  • Put the lead weights in tape to reduce the chance of lead poisoning yourself.

  • @MadSmokerBBQ That's some good advice man. I use stainless splitshots in the ones I make for that same reason. When I shot this I had only just came up with the idea and only had the lead weights.

  • Awesome I will be making my bracelet soon thanks for the demo.

  • @TxElite87 No problem my friend... hope it turns out good for ya man!

  • his pinky nails bug me but its a good video

  • @kingelrik Thanks man, I appreciate that. Btw, I'll have to get around to cutting those nails one of these days, eh? ;-)

  • Just tryed to make a normal one without the fishing gear inn it, and i did it only by watching this video. It was so easy and now i can make them by heart. Next is fishing verson. Great vid, fast and right on. After watching this every1 should be able to make a braclet like this.

  • You should add some small eyescrews in with the hooks in the tape. Then you got everything you need to make a fishingpole. Use 3 eyescrews from the braclet and screw em inn to a branch. 1 on topp, one on bottom and one on the middle. Then just feed the line thrue them to make a fishingpole. Just an idea i had =P

  • @300in1Warrior i saw that too lol.

  • This is great! Good job! This would be very useful in a survival situation.

  • @MadSmokerBBQ You can get lead poisoning just by having it rub against you? I thought it had to be ingested.

  • Like It.

Also like the idea of steel split shot instead of lead.

YES those are coke nails. All the rest are trimmed. My roommate in the army had them.

  • @intenseangler where do you buy you fishing line from, and what brand is it?
