I worked as a kindergarten teacher in Taiwan for a year, and here in London I'm a carer. Most amazing feeling in the world.
Wish I knew what I was going to do back home in South Africa though: Love to qualify as a teacher, but I don't know if the world is at the point yet where that's a realistic thing for somebody who's trans.

you might want to look into a class on applied Linguistics (interpretation) if you like sign language. for me someone who majors in oral language interpretations, sign language is hard, so more power to you. could be a good career choice. good luck to you

Oh I can see ASL being hard to learn as you almost have to unlearn spoken language to do it correctly.
