From a director's standpoint, and having performed this song a member of a choir directed by the composer, I can say, as a piggy-back to Shabers128's comment, that better expression would have allowed them to feel the song better which would have made their sound even better.

Good song but they could have had A LOT more expression on their faces. As I watched, I saw everybody's faces and it didn't seem like they had the feel for this piece. But on the optimistic side, I really liked how they sounded.

Those dresses! The women's ensemble at my school had those one year..we hated them! This song is really good!
