HEY GUYS, SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN POSTING. BEEN SUPER BUSY.

I woke up on the plane.
I remembered this morning, how I cried into Kevin seniors shoulder as he dropped me off at the airport.
I was gonna miss Jersey, and everyone in it. Kevin Sr., Denise, Joe, Nick, Frankie, Maya, Kyioko, Mandy... and even Kevin. After all he was my best friend for as long as I could remember.
I was born probably 18 hours after he was.
We were inseparable since we could walk.
I couldn't hold a grudge on him, after all, I still loved him.
But I was planning on forgetting about those feelings. I thought about how my life would be without him and everyone else. Miserable. So I just closed my eyes and went back to sleep, hoping that when I woke up again, I would be in California, and it would be too late to go back to Jersey.




Kevins POV


I sat on the house porch.
I couldn't sleep last night. She was on my mind the whole time. How could i be so stupid?!
What was going on with Danielle and I was over a long time ago! But her name slipped out while I was with Jane. The girl I loved.
Since I couldn't sleep, I was up at probably 4 in the morning and went out.
I looked down at the roses I bought her.
I prayed that she'd take me back.
Then, I walked into the house.
I took my time up the stairs, my mom had a bunch of pictures of Jane. This made me smile. She was perfect.

I walked to her door and knocked on it carefully.
No answer, maybe she didn't here me.
So I knocked again, a little louder. Still, no answer.
I opened the door and peeked in.
No one. I walked to her bathroom.
Her stuff was gone...
I went back into her room and then I realized... She was gone.
I sat on her empty bed and stared down at the flowers.
I fucked up, big time.
How could I be so stupid?!
I placed the flowers on her pillow and something caught my eye.
I lifted up a framed picture... It was our picture, instead of smiling like I always did, I frowned. What I saw I would never see again...

"Kevin...?"
I looked up and saw my mom at the door.
She knew what was up.
"Mom... Why?"
She walked over to me and sat next to me.
"She couldn't handle it honey. She wanted to start a new life."
"But.. Why?"
"I'm not sure... But how could I argue?"
"Why didn't you mom?!"
She sat there silently.
"You broke her heart Kevin, I'm sorry baby but..."
"It's okay mom... I know..."
"It'll be okay honey."
I nodded. She stroked my hair, and whispered something I didn't hear. She walked away and closed the door behind her.
I put the picture down and let out a sigh.
And I prayed.
Not for Jane's forgiveness, but I prayed for us to see each other again, and hopefully, she'd still love me.


Janes POV

I pulled up to my aunts driveway, the house was huge, she lived in a huge community, with huge houses. I could get used to this.
As I walked up to the door, I thought about how this precise moment was the beginning of my new life. And I realized that I might find my fairytale story, something I didn't find with Kevin.
