In the last 5 years, WRC-TV 4 has lost some big names, Susan Kidd, Arch Campbell, George Michael and now Bob Ryan. Bob Ryan is now doing the 11:00pm weather on WJLA-TV 7 (ABC 7). Channel 4 has not been the same since.

News 4 is the third station to start at 4:30am WTTG TV 5 launched a week before News 4.

I love the new set and it was about time as far as going HD with their newscasts, Also starting today News 4 Today is the 2nd station to start at 4:30am in the morning on a regular basis. WUSA TV 9 started theirs in March.

This WRC-TV set lasted from 1998 to 2010. The new News 4 set looks great. It was about time they got a new set.
