Broken, Part 1 [Adam Nitti]

Part one of a two part tune by Adam Nitti from his record, "Evidence".

I was in love with this tune from the very first time I heard it, so I immediately transcribed it and even played it for my college auditions.

The audio is running mono line-in from a Korg AX1B with a tiny bit of reverb, and the video was recorded from a Canon A620 at 640x480. My instrument is a 100% maple Spector Euro 5 Neck-thru with two EMG DC-40s.

I've made two mistakes:
At 0:44, my left hand plays the descending line.. A-F-E. It should be A-G-F. This repeats at 1:03.

Anyway, enjoy it.

Many of you have asked for my transcription of this piece. I'm usually pretty hesitant to give away my transcriptions of difficult pieces, given that I put a lot of work into them and it seems like the easy way out to give away my notation. I'd encourage you to attempt to transcribe the piece yourself, as it's a great learning exercise, and I'll gladly check your transcription to mine if you'd like. I can play up to 1:36 and than I just cant seem to figure out what to do after that. No matter how many times I watch this still cant get it into my head or hands.

Nice playing, sounds really good. I just bought a used Kork AX1B for $29.99 yesterday, I'm waiting for it to arrive. Hopefully it still sounds decent with a passive bass.

Did you ever use it with one?

@jmatthews13 Thanks! I had it at 140 tempo and was using a lot of dotted notes. Makes sense now. I have an older Euro spector and was wondering what strings you're using?
