In this test, I attached a camera to a straight line path and all it's doing is moving forward and backward some. The tardis is on a path constraint of its own which has a smooth curving path.

  • Good job with the path constraint - sounds like you're using max. if you want the easiest way to control the camera go to the menu while its selected, go to the little "wheel" or motion properties, expand the "Assign Controller" tab, and click on the POSITION selection there.

Then click the little check that will light up right at the top of that menu and select BEZIER FLOAT.

It will allow you to autokey the position X,Y,Z and assign curves to it without having to do each coordinate independ

  • @ManservantPablo Thanks for the advice. No wasn't thinking you were a dick :).

  • Very much improved. If you can get your movements nice and smooth like the beginning of this video, then your movements will defiantly be nice! ^.^
