where is this flat part? im not picking it up? im not trying to be "Tori is the goddess and how dare anyone say she is singing flat" i actually am not good at picking up on these things lol cheers.
@asmailrabbit Not worth the argument. I love flaws in studio songs. It shows her confidence in her music. Tori fanboy or not, I'm sure everyone would agree that the rest of the song is charged with emotion and that ONE mistake only adds to its beauty.
@nikican Musicians can't be flawless all the time or hit every note perfectly all the time. Why waste time pointing out a tiny little flat note when everything else is so nice? People fuck up. Tori Amos actually has a song about fucking up that she sings live when she fucks up. And I hate to revert to this cliche, but I challenge you to do record this song perfectly.
@asmailrabbit Usually when a professional singer/songwriter/performer/recording artist (whichever term you favour) sings noticeably FLAT in a song it is perfectly reasonable to remark upon it. I am sorry if it offends you that I noticed (are you a Tori fanboy?) but, well, tough. If I was listening to Queen and I noticed Brian May screw up a bit of the guitar solo I'd, likewise, remark upon it.
