In Nebraska's 13-30 loss to South Carolina in the Capital One Bowl, Alshon Jeffery (SC) and Alfonzo Dennard (NU) were involved in a fight on the field.
Jeffery was having a surprisingly productive day playing just weeks after surgery on his hand for an injury he sustained in the regular-season finale. He was called for a personal foul penalty and ejected with just over two minutes left in the third quarter along with Cornhuskers cornerback Alfonzo Dennard when both were caught throwing punches at each other after a play.
"Getting ejected, that is something that happened in the moment," Jeffery later said.
Um!! No paulino the tall faggot was holding dennards facemask when he defended himself by throwing the 3-4 punches Alfonzo threw, only problem is he did it in a football game representing Nebraska on national tv with NFL scouts shaking their heads at both players immediate future, they hurt themselves & embarrassed both their fans, so yes it was "bonehead play" but naturally you are taught to defend yourself

@alextheman12345 that guy was holding the whole game. excessive tackling. even after the play is over. He was just pushing him away and that faggot started throwing punches.

@paulinotou Lol you realise corners are supposed to be physical right? Like have you ever watched college football? Never did he grab all jersey no body. I dont think you would be able to call a holding if you saw it haha

Alshon would have been sleepin' --except for the whole helmet thing :P. And holding definitely went both ways. However they are both class acts from what I've heard (stuff happens) Game of miscues for the 'skers. SC the better team, but NE didn't help themselves out. Dennard and Alshon will be lining up across from eachother on Sundays in the near future.

that guy was holding the whole fucking game, and the refs let it go. i mean anyone who denies that is stupid. i mean look at how he is blocking in this vid, they are above 5 yds and the play is over, and that motherfucker is still tackling alshon. what else is he supposed to do. he pushed him away and than dennard being a retard, threw a punch. bad refs, they could of prevented this by calling the holdings earlier. and SC would of crushed these pups ever harder.

@HR4U2NV Oh, and I just thought it was funny because the play when I saw Jeffery take a shot at Dennard they stop the replay right before it happens. I think in the end they both deserved to be ejected, but the play that they ejected both of them I don't think Jeffery did enough to get more than a penalty.

@GamecockRock0525 I'm not trying to prove anything or anything else really other than stating what I saw. You could see this fight building as the game went on and it was a lot of fun to see two great players going at it, although I wish they would have been able to control themselves towards the end of the game. The ref's missed the earlier one, and in the end Dennard definitely deserved to be ejected while Jeffery probably should have just been a penalty for that instance

If Jeffery's helmet would have been off he would have been droped! GO BIG RED!!!

@HR4U2NV lmao, find it then I will believe it... Jeffery has went against some of the best DBs to ever play the college game and things got heated but he never threw a punch. And a punch thrown at an earlier time is not grounds for ejection later on in the game. Nice try though

@GamecockRock0525 They didn't show much of it, but earlier in the game Jeffery took a shot at Dennard during a play, that no one has shown again.
