I feel this Soldier & his families painful distrust in the Army. After 28 years of superior service, I too have been kicked to the curb. I was recently briefed on my medical board results which were nothing short of insulting in regard to my significantly documented PTSD, TBI, hearing loss, stroke, & more. I've been denied outpatient surgery to remove a spinal tumor that could eliminate my sciatic pain & neurapathies. I am attached to the WTB Ft Riley with 4 recent suicides. :-( WTF ?

Continued from last post....so it was either deal with THAT for another year, or get out within 20 days if i didn't fight it....They make you choose that way, so it's easier for them....They treated me like a box on an assembly line, not like a human being. And If i had pre-existing conditions, then why do they now give me 70% Disability for my personality disorder? Why are they about to bump me to 100% for disarching me for a personality disorder? ... I don't complain about that, but wow....

They told me i could fight the charge of "Personality Disorder" and told me If I didn't fight it I could get out within 20 days..but if i tried to fight it, i'd have to do that for almost an entire year...and At the place I was, I was constantly hazed every day, people stealing my gear, throwing coffee and soda even Gum on me while i was cleaning the offices at the place where I had to stay temporarily...They called me "admin sep bitch" and other names, they even punched me and pushed me...

I got this kind of discharge in 2002. It's true that they threaten you with a lengthy discharge if you don't choose personality disorder. I had to pay my bonus back. I eventually did receive disability compensation but it wasn't until years later. It was not a personality disorder I suffered from but in fact schizophrenia.

The military can't claim this. Only fit people are allowed in the army in the first place. You can't have it both ways.

Outrageous. So now the military has unofficially decided on a diagnosis of personality disorder to get rid of broken soldiers cheaply.

But the poor mom STILL holds onto the ludicrous delusion that soldiers like her son were sent to Iraq 'to serve their country'. HOW is a bullshit criminal war based on fraud and lies 'serving' anybody but the corrupt Military Industrial Complex? WHEN will folks realize they've been scammed, betrayed, misled and taken advantage of by their so-called 'leaders'?

I got an RE4. There was no reason to let me out, it was just the easy way out for them. At this time I am appealing being turned down for disability. My VA psych says it was depression misdiagnosed as "personality disorder". What a load of crap.

I am trying to fight my discharge. I got honorable with a re-3 code because I thought I was talking to somebody who I thought was going to help me through a tough time. Next thing I know I was on a flight back to the states from japan to for adminsep. I had less the 24 hours for pack up a get out. I dont ask for that and I tried to fight it but I guess the pyschiatrist has known me all of my life.

dude i have the same fucking discharge I had to cut someone down who hung themselves and the navy raped me discharged honorable with a personality disorder characterization, FUCK YOU FOR RUINING MY LIFE
