Trust me, I know it isn't the cords. I was playing, turned it off, and it stopped working after a weird colored screen. I have to take it apart for a 1 week fix and have to redo it over and over and over and over and over again. I NEED a new xbox.

  • hey i used the towel trick for mine but im trying to figure out what csebastian71 is talking about im gonna try that

  • the towel trick completely ruins your motherboard and can make it un-fixable

  • wyatt, it's dedzors.....sowwy.

  • Yeah. :( but this is what happened last time. Maybe I'm fixing it wrong. Probably that isn't the case. Hopefully I can get a new one sometime soon...

  • Try this.....it has worked several times for me. Remove all game discs and hard drives. Wtith the xbox off use the controller's center button to turn it on. Press the y-button and the right trigger until it resets the xbox. Now its a timing game so you my not get it on the first or second try. Try holding them down as you turn on the xbox or hold them down just as you see it turning on. Also if you have the HDTV and TV video cable, switch between them. Good luck.
