This took place on back in 5-27-04 on freq 161.100 from my scanner which I should of shown instead of the speaker, but this came out of nowhere so quick, I just grabbed my cam & started recording. A BNSF dispatcher was trying to give orders to a track foreman or maintance crew leader when something went wrong on the part of the track-foreman, he obviously took the main track out of service without permission from the dispatch causing all kinds of havoc. 'Casey' of course was so many miles away from where I was @ mile post 79, therefore you cant hear the other end of the convo other than the dispatcher which as we all know transmits from a tower. For all that know the BNSF Casey / Teague line, in 2003 they made a conjoining switch in Dobbin Tx, increasing the flow of traffic. I thought this dispatch was going to have a heart-attack! :-O Any rude, or negative comments made will be removed.

  • So you went and bought a radio so you could listen to train engineers at home? And record them? L - o - L

You must be a real party animal !

Why don't you talk real nice to the engineer on your radio.? They might let you toot the horn some time !

  • @graverobber35 Well no, I bought a scanner to listen to Police, fire & ambulance too, and especially FIRE because I was with the VFD. Its just a receiver dude. And ive tooted many ((HORNS)) in the past. :-)

  • thats a good one wow. he was pist

  • Yes he was, I was lucky to have caught this, because I was in the other room when his voice carried allll the way in there..lol! So I scrambled to catch this. I have another from several months prior, but I caught it too late, nothing near as interesting as this.

  • @graverobber35 So, uh, how's high school kid? Us adults like our hobbies.

  • @graverobber35 wow, youre a hugely ignorant fucktard.

  • @gilbert20 No, the track inspector was trying to take the mainline out of service because he probably couldn't get any time to inspect that section, which has to be done every day. The dispatcher got butthurt when the track inspector took the track out of service.

  • @xodgpc Well, he can't stand assholes running the rail industry!

  • This d.ispatcher was pissed obviously because he cared about safety and the orderly flow of traffic on the tracks. I support him 100%

  • No one is allowed to SWEAR on rr radios, its a rule violation!

  • @Scrige The track foreman seems not to have kept the dispatcher informed about what he was doing. The dispatcher is basically saying,"What are you doing?I have trains headed towards you and I need to know if the track is clear and these trains can proceed." If for any reason track maintenance crews take a track out of service, they have to inform the dispatcher right away so he can hold trains up on a siding or re-route them.

  • that guy should take a chill pill
