This video shows surgery upon a case of congenital cataract, a 3 year old male child. An unnatural red reflex made me act cautiously. Ant CCC was done, Aspiration of the soft lens matter was done with dry aspiration. A pre-existing posterior capsular gap with fibrosed edges was discovered at the back. An IOL could be easily implanted into the capsular bag. The other eye of this child behaved similarly.
