yes i just dont have the 3g firmware just good it.

put it in and out of airplane mode to see if you get service or a hard reset.

Nothing is 100% but it has worked both times i have done it. If it doesn't work you can put your phone into recovery mode and downgrade back to 2.2.1

3- you hold the home and power button together for exactly 10 sec. and then you release ONLY the power button, but keep holding the home button, until you get a massage on itunes that says that it has detected an iphone on dfu mode, this way you can restore you iphone again BUT Remember that you have to take the SIM card out of the device before the whole process.

4- restore your device. :D

I had the same problem,all my iphones was letting me do is make emergency calls, but I fixed it, and this is how you do it : 1- you connect your Iphone to Itunes.

2- you turn it off, so you won't find it on Itunes.
