@skibum1981 Ralph is a master composer-improviser, maybe his playing is a means to writing. Even with small mistakes he is the best player of his compositions. And never saw anyone improvising on his pieces like he does.

@skibum1981 good point skibum... truth is though most classical players with great technique are BORING to listen to. Give me Andy York, Earl Klugh, or even Kazuhito Yamashita. It's all about expression in the end right? I have played classical for about 15yrs now and still my jaw is completely on the floor when I hear RT. People who know this style have got to see the genius in his playing, like you said not polished maybe but so expressive and dynamic.

@uneedtherapy42 Actually Towner isn't the cleanest of classical players, but his musicality is pretty unmatched...
