Miami Vice: In my opinion the most important tv show in the 80s. Great director Michael Mann (Heat, Collateral) and great composer Jan Hammer.

Keys of success: 50% music, 20% stories, 20% actors, 10% rest (cars, girls, boats, clothes,...). Of course without Michael Mann all of this wouldn't be possible.

  • La mejor apertura para la mejor serie policial de los 80'S

  • @1975DCS I agree

  • This short version is better, more powerful!

  • Young people sing "I'm on a boat" whenever they're on a boat. In my day I sounded out this song's lead guitar while my brother did those conga drums.

  • alternate version:

  • @xtallyx1 this is the short version of the original this one picks up at about the 1:20 into the original track

  • Is this the Straits of Hormus?

  • Nice vid. You caught it just right. Love those boats. Going fast never gets old.
