Union Pacific kept the trains rolling through Hallsville on a busy January 11, 2012. The first train almost caught me off guard shortly after I arrived and featured a pure NS power lashup, with a standard cab C40-8 leading! The second train also had an NS unit third in tow, and then the third train had a total of six engines leading, with a KCS SD70MAC thrown in. After one more train at Roy Green Rd, we switch over to a more scenic spot at Muntz Cutoff Rd, where we see four additional trains rounding the curve through the forest east of town.
