Sorry to burst the bubble but being black does not mean that a person has any dance talent or rythm. And believe me, there are plenty Egyptian who can't dance a lick regardless of their color or geographic location.

@LindyHoppingMidwife I think the conversation must have digressed from the original video footage. I think the person who made the video is saying that Middle Eastern dance is for anyone men, women, children ... any age etc... which is what i believe too and i teach all ages and would happily teach men. I think that was the point of the video.

Where they have digressed may have been in the comments about just because a person is Middle Eastern does not mean they can dance.

People keeping saying that because it's true. Egypt has been invaded by everyone: Arabs, Nubians, Greeks, etc. It's not possible to keep any bloodline pure under those circumstances.
