Read carefully - what he's saying is that *all* of the pharmaceuticals are harmful, addiction-inducing drugs that do not cure anything. So, no, he's not right in any way.

@aliG2500 Also, in addition to the previous comment, abuse is abuse and if someone has an abusive personality, then you can't do very much to stop that. The drugs are given to the individual to help them, with instructions on how not to misuse them. If the individual misuses them, then whose fault is that? You can't blame the pharmaceutical companies because people misuse their drugs. That's like blaming Honda because drunk drivers crashed and killed people.

@aliG2500 You're kind of right, and most people here are getting mad because they misunderstood you. However, though you have some logic here, you're remaining very ignorant of the other 99% of pharmaceutical drugs out there. Very many drugs actually solve the main problem, and when those don't help, what's wrong with hiding the pain? Another big difference is environment and control; heroin and oxycontin may be similar, but the latter would have controlled dosages.

@aliG2500 Would you take a pill that has the exact same properties as that herb if it were just in pill form? The fact that it was turned into a pill doesn't mean it'll fuck you up. Pharmaceuticals don't "cover up" anything, they interact with the chemicals already in your body just like anything natural would. You just wanna be the one that says "we've been lied to! I know the real truth!" The real problem is when people abuse drugs.
