  • ACC's #68 song of '90. God bless ya, brother Lionel! Thanx, VEVO, for postin' it.

  • love it! My brother and I used to listen to the radio years ago. all the things he talked about in the song is real. takes me back to a simpler times.

  • Nothing says chart topping early 90's success like a mullet.

  • I wish that you could buy this on iTunes :(

  • I love this song! I grew up listening to AM and shortwave on an old Zenith floor model radio when I was growing up in the 1960's. I now hold both commercial and amateur radio licenses stemming from my youthful fascination listening to the old Zenith. Thanks for posting this! 73, de AA3RT

  • Who's the moron that dislikes this, folks would it not make sense if someone don't like a song why click dislike and comment about how ya don't like the song, and just watch what ya do like. Am I right or am I right..lol

  • I think he did a good job capturing the magic of radio as well in this song. Listening to AM and shortwave gives a strong sense of community as does operating on the HF amateur radio bands. With just 100 watts your transmissions can hop continents covering a significant portion of the world. Just going out and getting your ticket is quite an experience which I myself am glad I got to have. 73 de KD7YUF/9

  • I know how that feels, when I was 10 I had a shortwave radio by my bed and when I could not sleep I was literally tuning in the world. This was back in 1998 however so I am fairly young.

  • This is one of my grandfathers favorite songs. We were listening to it eariler to dad reminds him of growing up in the 40s and 50s just the artists would be different then the 60s ones. Also he use to listen to the Dodgers and the Yankees at night.
