Testing out the Go Pro camera at Cronulla, July 2010. After I loaded the video onto my computer I though I would add a few visual and sound effects to bring the footage to life in the form or a shot clip.

Its funny when you slow surfing footage down how you notice so many things that happen. Water draining off the board or your fingers, slight movements of your feet, little adjustments of the board. When your riding the wave you have no idea of these small but important changes that help get the most out of a wave.

Enjoy the clip.

  • using Final Cut Pro. Go Pro shot in the R3 setting then converted with MPeg Stream clip. Finally a conform to 25 fps in Cinema Tools before importing to FCP. I exported the clip out of FCP with the Vimeo HD settings.
