@bigdlb14 Well the whole point of this video was to show people alternative options other than using weights. But in your case if you find 8 pounds to be a good weight you can work with then of course you can.

If you take the curl closer to you shoulder instead of stopping when your forearm is parallel to the floor would you not get a much better muscle contraction and there fore develop the muscle fibres more than what you do now ? so in theory you would have to do less reps less sets less work, So now who is wasting energy ?

@alexe89 Thanks for you comment an interesting question you present there. I don't stop to where my forearm is parallel to the ground for one and tbh i don't think i would. I challenge you to try both methods (mine and yours) and get back to me with your results i am truly interested to hear your feedback. :)
