  • I want to thank you, Uncle Godzilla, for showing this film. Although I was a baby at the time of its release, the kitchen scenes bring back memories of my own childhood. I had seen ads for the government cooking schools in back issues of newspapers, but never understood what they were. Mary Gordon, Sherlock Holmes' landlady, plays the helpful neighbor. I wonder who played the little girl.

  • Thank you, Unc! As a major Lon Chaney, Jr. fan, I've always wanted to see this short It wasn't anything like I had imagined it to be. Lon's participation in it was lamentably brief, but at least he had lines, unlike his drinking buddy Broderick Crawford.

Re Crawford and Chaney, I'm dying to see "Norh of the Klondike." I love the Pepsi-Cola tie-in magazine ad featuring the two stars. Chaney's sour expression while taking a swig is a hoot! He looks as though he'd rather be knocking back a fifth!

  • Thanks Uncle!!!
