One customer of Battlefield 3 had enough of EA's scamming tactics and filed a lawsuit against the publishing company due to the fact that EA never gave a free copy of Battlefield 1943 with the PS3 Version of Battlefield 3. Once EA became aware of this, they had a change of heart. Now every PS3 player out there who bought BF3 will be getting a free copy of BF 1943!

If your bf1943 isn't coming up when you have downloaded it, here are some things you have to do. But first, cancel your download.

1. Go to your BF3 menu. (on your ps3)

2. Click on "store."

3. There SHOULD be a "redeem code" on the top right corner of the screen. Once you've seen it, click on it.

4. If you have the code, type the code in. If it's capitalize letters, then capitalize just in case.

5. Hit enter.

6. There should be 3 files with a bf1943 icon

The 6KB file is the 1943 Full game unlock key.

I already activated my BF3 for months ago but this unlock is necessary to unlock BF 1943 Demo to full game.

Like many Downloadable PSN game "buy and unlock full game" on the main menu.

It's free so they give you Demo and an unlock key.
