The problem with Scientology is that the theology is not true, not supported by evidence, not based on fact or reality.  However, the methodology they use to clear the mind, to de-hypnotize people, is very effective and a key to awakening. These methods could be used to help people out of the illusions of this world, and then they can be taught the truth that IS in accord with fact and reality.
