Snooker Ding Junhui 147 break UK Championship 16.12.08 part2

China's Ding Junhui potted a maximum 147 break during his second round match at the United Kingdom Championship. Meanwhile Ding's heroics couldn't prevent him falling 7-1 behind against John Higgins as the former world champion, 3-1 up at the mid-session interval, won four frames on the bounce. Ding, who won the the UK title in 2005, was trailing the Scot by 2-0 when he sank 15 reds and blacks in the third frame before clearing the colours.

The 21-year-old appeared understandably nervous as he approached the landmark.

But after stepping away from the table, for a drink of water, Ding potted the pink and the final black to the delight of the crowd before being congratulated by Higgins.

Ding is now on course to claim a bonus 30,000 pounds (45,872 dollars), made up of 5,000 pounds for the highest break of the tournament and a 25,000 pounds bonus for the 147.

4,55seconds.. when he overscrewed the ball by just a bit.. then u start to see problems snowball.. but thats just how difficult the game can be and can get.. and these guys know how to get it back together again.. just 1 small mistake can cause so many problems..
