  • The Furey's werent poliical. Not to be confused with The Wolfe Tones. :)

  • Amazing stuff. I'm an old empire Brit who'll wave the Union Jack at the drop of a hat, but that puts it all into crystal clear perspective. Us humans have got bigger fish to fry than worrying about each other's nationality, politics and religion. The nationalist Irish bloke below said the same thing as I am, perhaps better, so if we two can get along, anyone can. Let's bury the past, not our young men.

War. What is it good for?

  • It's so sad that the metal on war memorials paying tribute to these guys can be stolen to be sold as scrap. German British I don't care sort it as most people do without fighting or are our leaders binge drinking?

  • @Baileylondon fair play to your dad, peace should be every sane person's priority. Some wars are just because they're fought for just causes, wasn't the case with WW1. As E. Blackadder said: "We had a war because it was too much of an effort not to have one"....

  • @Copperfishireland oh yer haha ino them tar mate ;)
