Knitting Basic Cables

Think cable knitting is too advanced for a beginning knitter? Think again. In this video I demonstrate a very simple six-stitch left-leaning cable from a pattern found on Dummies.com here http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/knitting-cables.html

I'm using big needles here (US11/8.0mm) to show you the stitches. They're size 11US (8.0mm).

@debbiesezhi Anywhere you get your knitting notions! That one is from Clover (I like their products) and I got it at my local Joann Fabrics. It came in a pack of three. They also make straight ones with a little "v" cut in the middle. Also, in a pinch, you can use a small, straight double-pointed needle, about 2-3 sizes smaller than the needles you're using to cable. Hope this helps! Glad you liked the vid!
