Egypt's ousted President Hosni Mubarak is on trial for corruption and ordering the killing of some 840 people during February uprisings, a charge that could incur the death penalty . Outside the courtroom in the capital, Cairo Mubarak's supporters clashed with his opponents. 1 person was killed, a further 15 were injured as each side hurled rocks and bottles at the other. Well Egyptians are slowly losing hope that they'll see the benefits of their own revolution. William Engdahl, who's written extensively on Egypt's uprising, says the people fell prey to a game of politics.

  • @katkoot229 Keep watching fox news. The more you watch the less you know.

  • Ha Ha Who needs Comedy Channel when you have RT! I just love these guys (and want some of the stuff their editor smokes!).

For starters labelling William Engdahl as "Egypt Expert" is hillarious. He has never produced a single piece of work on Egypt & as a freelance writer, he (like some others) take very contraversial and sensational views to "stand out". Most of his work is unsubstantiated sensetional none sense. What are his credentials / authority to claim knowledge about Egyptian society?

  • Great! Now they have fake democracy, exactly like us! Isn't it wonderful?

  • I think the funny thing about Egypt is that the ppl took back their country or 'won' in mere weeks...no long drawn out bloody battles against their opressors. They just said GTFO and they did.

  • @figbat1 Africa is not a superpower it could become one if Libya was making the Golden Dinar currency but now its just a colony for UK and USA as always.

  • @amadkour Nasser is to blaim here for closing soviet ties in the aswan , Egypt would have it a million times better without Mubarak and other U.S puppets . Putin however is a double agent most probably his dick got him into trouble so to save his pathetic life he made sure he helped USA to destroy the Soviet Union!

  • @Wyldstylist an intersting conspiracy theory. The fact remains that the message in the(rediculous) video is unsubstantiated sensetional none-sense. I'm not familar with Russian history so I can't comment on your theory. The joker in the video can't be labled as Egypt Expert, and his claims are weak; not much more sophisticated than "bar-talk". On the whole, RT generally offers low quality content that is baseless, hence my comment about them being a commediy channel.

  • these poor egyptian people who had to endure mubarak and his regimes' torture and murder for so long........finally getting rid of him......and then the next corrupt and tyrranical regime steps in.....and they cant do anything about it.

why doesnt america step in and stop this.

i wonder if hilary and her government will be supoorting and endorsing the next brutal regime to rule egypt and turn a blind eye.

for the real truth go to you-tube site "glyn davis coepptube" and press "see all".
