  • Did Malcolm X almost curse LOL!!!!

  • @YoungLance1 That part always stuck out at me...he was so mad he almost swore! But even then, at the last minute, the man kept his composure! Incredible.

  • he is one great example why i believe in man. not race, not color, not wealth nor power... but the ability to maintain your sense of humanity in times where others act like animals.

  • @outlaw2978 prove he was a freemason!

you'll find if you do your homework, he wasnt!

thats what the NOI said he was!!! so its bull shit!

  • @YoungLance1 i would too when someone does that to my family (wife and babies)

  • real spit

  • @GunningSoulmanKQ6 he was also a freemason which means his agenda wasnt his own i'm not saying he's evil because he's not he was a great man

  • Why would anyone compare X to Obama. Please, Obama is a politician. X is a revolutionary, a hero, he was fighting for the black people.

  • On the same page, I can only imagine Malcolm's disappointment in Elijah Muhammed. It was the hypocricy of his leader that shattered his image, thus shattering his belief. He had to be taken out because he knew too much. Truth and the image of truth are completely different. Malcolm came from up under the image in order to learn the real.

  • My interest in Malcolm X and the NOI developed after reading The Autobiography of Malcolm X. I do believe he was one of the most prolific African-Americans in history. He will, however, continue to be labeled a trouble maker. His belief in the NOI came from a need to blame someone, anyone for his own mistakes. You can find anyone whose down on their luck and give them an excuse for it, they will take it.

  • I mean EM didn't alluva sudden, from a life of spiritual purity, one day decide "I think I'll get my secretary pregnant". He was burning with lust and planning things out beforehand. The same holds true for how he corrupted himself as a leader and the NOI as an organization.

EM's corruption was a long time coming, as with most people. Malcom X didn't join when the NOI first started and was "pure", if you want to believe that! He joined up somewhere in the midst of all that happened afterwards.

  • I think Elijah Muhammad did some great things. Malcom X too. These are clearly understatements! But they were not men with a past free of misdeeds. And I don't believe either of them claim to be.

BUT I don't think it's correct for Malcom X to point out that the EM's movement was so spiritually pure in the beginning. Check the timeline on those teenage pregnancies! Whatever he did, was done years beforehand as lust and pre-meditation. It just didn't all come to the surface until years later.
