Sri Karunamayi: Smriti Multi-tasking

Every event has it's director, and for us this year in the Bay Area, Smriti was it. A devotee of Amma since 1995 (I think that's what she told me), she directed all volunteers with careful attention to detail, demanding precision when necessary, and a sense of humor always. I've only known her for a few weeks, but I've learned so much from her already.

Smriti, in Hindi, means memory or epic memory. Here, she uses hers, as she works on her garland for Ma, asks questions, gives instructins, and directs activity.
