I HAD to do it! A blend of various TdV and TW clips to the song from Pandora's Box's "Original Sin" which was the fisrt version of both "Gott ist tot" and "Die Einladung zum Ball." It was intended to show Krolock's and Sarah's struggle for more, both blood and life itself. The song really suits vampires in general... Hail to the greatness of Jim Steinman!

Disclaimer: I DO NOT own the music, the pictures, the clips, the characters or anything used in this video. It all goes to Jim Steinman, Michael Kunze and Roman Polański. I just borrowed their genius for a while.

  • Ha this version i've never heard. THx!!

and for the clip i think it's from 2005 Hamburg Verison. Thomas Bochert and Jessica Kessler

  • The clips come from many versions of the show, not only one, including the Warsaw and Vienna productions :)

  • Dude, forget True Blood and Twilight. This is far superior to either of those two disgraceful excuses of vampire entertainment. Go read Bram Stoker and Anne Rice's stuff while you're at it.

  • This show actually has a truly abhorrent HORDE of decaying, vicious vampires in the ensemble. They're practically zombies.

  • One of my fav albums of the Steinman-Area.

    Anyone posted "good girls...." ?

  • I love this version - thanks a lot for it.

  • Nice stuff, thanks!

  • huhuhab total lust bilder tauschen und chatn bin so einsam brauche dringend beschäftigung

  • @TeoAmni Amen my brother

  • Pff.. There's vampire stories from alto of different origins and they're different from place to place. Some are charming and manipulative while others are basicly zombies, Don't play so fucking clever by thinking you're right because you named one of the vampire types. YES vampires CAN be portrayed as romantic (even though I think it's silly considering they're dead, why should they want things like sex? Can they even get it up?)

  • Pretty much. This show does end with the horde taking over the world, so...

  • See, that's still abhorrent. That's cool.

  • Vampires of Middle and Eastern European folklore were red and often fat, not rotten or disfigured monsters - they looked like ordinary humans. They were also sexual and could have children with humans - vampire-hunting dhampirs.

  • That's basically what vampires are, at core, only more supernatural. I just can't stomach all this romantic characterization.
