Unfortunately it didn't help. It seems that whatever I do to change resolution, it still stays the same. I will get DVI cable for my monitor soon to be able to run the game in 4:3 format.

@asgardharmony It works for everyone else so you must be doing it wrong. for a full tutorial google "bf2 1680x1050"

I did not found the answer in previous comments. I choose 1680x1050 in game video options, used widescreenfixer but the game still looks stretched :(

you need to right click your bf2 icon and go to properties so you can modify the target line so it has +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050. in game leave resoluiion on 800x600
