Kusan Model Trains came from AMT, which was taken over by Auburn which was taken over by Kusan Toys. My collection of Kusan is limited to their low priced K-Series made from1956 t0 1961. The tooling for the K-Series lived on after Kusan being used by Kris Model Trains, Frank's Roundhouse, K-Line and even today by RMT.

The only Williams variants I have are the NASA set and one of the Army sets.

Great. I remember my parents getting me several Kusan freight car kits for $1 each at a place called The Little Big Dollar Stores back in the 50's.
I remember seeing a military version in Olive at a department store once. My parents couldn't get it, so when RMT made their Beep in US Army I had to get one. I still have all my Kusan cars, all with Lionel plastic trucks.
