That Fear Can Not Have Me

That fear can not have me
Time grabs me away from my dreams
away from that place I began
when I ran from the truth
I was born in that spark
that shard torn apart
that clock screams
When the rock met the wind
and crumbled to sand
I began my journey here
And that fear can not have me

I will gladly pretend
I will bend to create it
I almost made it
I can almost taste it
When faced with that star
I will ride it
can't fight it
can't steer
And that fear can not have me

I believe!
I would rather touch to grow
I know too much to pretend
that my friend is overtant
The man behind the curtain
is certain to feed me
you need me to breath
I am here and that fear can not have me

It's rising!
I'll be free
capsizing that boat
that brought my people
That steeple high above
our own consciousness
best left alone
and I should have known!
That this fear can not have me

Each tear that craves
these hungry waves
unleash their slaves
upon their masters
No faster shall the ocean's
salty lick clock tick
tear the proud island into the sea
And that fear can not have me

Break loose all hell
regaling the tale
impaling me upon your tradition
The ignition beneath my feet
so sweet!
can't hide, don't try!
All you gave me
it made me
Invade me with caution
Lost in this land of milk and honey
your money is no good here
And that fear can not have me

Berate me or take me
The stakes are too high!
Decide what you want
but that gauntlet WILL be passed
with BOTH hands tied behind my back!
And that fear can not have me

I don't understand how grand
"your majesty"
came to this travesty
and still claims to be savior
But he gave her to me
in the name of the Mother
the Daughter and the Holy Ghost
Shall we toast to this day
that could make my kind believe?
Their truth IS the vice!
You may buy my services
but I have NO price!
And that fear can not have me
