All the prophets from Moses to Paul in the Bible, never proclaimed themselves as prophets. It is the one that calls himself a prophet that is truly a false prophet.

nasrat.. If the Bible was corrupted, was this before or after Muhammad? If before, why does God tell Muhammad to refer to a corrupted Scripture for guidance? and why does he say of the Torah and Gospel wherein is guidance and light rather than wherein there used to be before they were corrupted? If after Muhammad, why does the Muslim not accept the Bible, since current translations are all based upon manuscripts that predate Muhammad?

@786Nasrat There is no evidence that the Arabian god Allah is the same YHVH Elohim of Abraham. No way in the Quran mentions Allah said except it begins with someone unknown invoking "In the Name of Allah". God does not invoke His Own Name. Gabriel never pray to God as Gabriel represents God. So there is a Big Error to say Allah was speaking in the Quran as no way you find "Gabriel said" in the Quran.
