Jesus came to show us how we must follow his example to be saved. Not just believe that he paid for our sins. That is believing in a theory about him. We must follow his example to be be saved.

Mat 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me:.. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Dunno what sort of cult this guy is from - but the righteousness and atonement of Christ preventing the condemning effects of sin affecting the believer is the foundation of Christianity. If this guy took any time to examine the rest of the teaching of John MacArthur - he would realize John does, in fact preach Lordship salvation.

1 John 1:8. If we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

This man likes to scream untruths. 1 John 1:9 says if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. READ YOUR BIBLE AND REPENT.

I got deceived by this man. I only watched a slight part of this video. Matt 16:24 speaks of leaving all to follow Christ, that means turning away from sin and accepting you are a sinner (Rms 3:23) and need Him (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Catholics are not Christians. We are justified by faith alone (Eph 2:8-9). No man can forgive sins. Only Christ can 1 Tim 2:5. Not Mary, she was a sinner too.

Im sorry I even clicked on this vid. Hope this person Finds God and learns About grace because He clearly does not understand the living word of God. I believe John Macaurthur speaks with authority and thats because the Holly Spirit is speaking through him. I pray for you sir who ever you are that God will open your heart to the truth.

And I notice he seems to be a hard core KJVonlyist - that and ignorance seem to go hand in hand.
