  • This is not real ramping

  • Actually you are quite wrong. Do you believe all the effects in the movie 300 were done on set? They were all shot high framerate then slowed down in post. Why? Because its safer and cheaper and less time consuming then trying to do it on the fly. Almost all ramping is done in post. The director can then decided to absolute perfection on when and when not to ramp.

  • Which lenses did you use? Is that the standard-lens?

  • Ya you are correct, it's software done. Though the effect is the same as actual ramping with no quality loss. Just shoot at 60/24 and then just speed it up in FCP.
