link is no longer there. but my first duty station was at luke. and even in 78-81 deadly force was authorized to any personnel attempting to get near the flight line without authorization.

The guys that got shot on base were in a stolen vehicle and ran through the gates without stopping and were heading toward the flight line with no signs of stopping. therefore invade the base deadly force is authorized especially when the vehicle approached the Flight line side of the base. the end.

@rizeoner1 Fuck Luke AFB? Now play nice. I'm sure the suspects had every right to steal something someone else has worked for and enter illegaly into a military installation, something that tax payers have paid for, put the Security Forces lives in danger after not obeying commands to halt... it is unfortunate that 'J LOCS' is resting in peace but that's what can happen when you lead a life such as stealing a vehicle, fleeing from police. I hope the survivor learns from his friends death.
