CAB Ride from the last AMT train to Rigaud After this train,no more train will pass on this track.

Cab ride à bord du dernier train vers Rigaud,l'AMT met fin à son service,alors il n'y aura probablement plus aucun train qui vont y passer.

When I saw this video, I thought you meant west of Rigaud to Ottawa, since that section of line was abandoned in 1990 when VIA got cut back in Canada as the M&O Sub stood for Montreal & Ottawa Subdivision, since it used to run to Ottawa. Those were the days.

Nice one Doc...and it's happening all over the country.....the old Rock Island line to Tucumcari from Amarillo....we used to go quail hunting west of town on a spot that now has 4 or 5 motels and a dozen restaurants scatered out all along the old right of way...it just doesn't seem that long ago...........................­..................... @Intransitman Yea it is.Detroit is population is mostly declining because Detroit was so dependent on the Auto Industry and didn't wanna attract a lot of other industries like the City of Grand Rapids,MI and Toronto,ON,Canada !!!!

Detroit decline is going to stop and the population is going to come back because everybody out here looking for jobs !!!!!!!!!

Michigan Central Station was the H.Q. of Michigan Central Railroad before it was bought by the New York Central RR . The B&O Railway,New York Central RR,and CP Railway used the station !!!!!!!!!!!

I just wish that somebody can just buy Michigan Central Station in Detroit,MI and just renovate and turn it into a rail museum or a train station !!!!!!!!!!

@truerailfan01 The thing is for people to keep putting pressure on the government, I spoke to the CEO of the AMT in May, he knows the situation is BS too. Write a letter to you local news paper, go to city hall, tell them that transit is important. If enough people stand up to BS, things can improve!
