  • Video certainly doesn't dissuade me from using Dewalt. My experience with the brand over many years has been too positive for that.

Rather, I know brushes on ALL drills and similar tools require replacement eventually. That includes Makita, Milwaukee, and others. Diy process is often relatively simple and inexpensive.

Of course, not so simple or inexpensive if one (with a stupid grin on face) abuses the tool by continuing to run it while it's obviously smoking.

  • Dewalt looks good smoking

  • Makita is the top tool ever

  • @stewartx5 I agree with you, I have the DCD985L2 and it is one of the best drills I have used...

  • Acquista un PROTOOL. Non ha carboncini e quindi non potrà MAI fumare! ciao

  • Dewalts are pieces of Shit!!! HILTI all day

  • Professional...yeah i know..

    Makita everytime.

  • Dewalt= diyer/ t.v handyperson

Makita, Hilti, Metabo = proffesional trade tools suitable for daily abuse...year in year out.

  • thats not good smoke. battery smoke is a deadly toxin

  • Probably kept pulling the trigger while the drill was stalled and caused the motor windings to overheat.
