Worried about the viability of Social Security? Unless you're already collecting it, you should be!
Follow the animated adventures of Sonny, exactly the sort of youth who is set to get screwed by a system designed during The Great Depression, when workers were plenty and retirees rare.
In Episode Four, Sonny learns the big secret of Social Security: That all payroll taxes go into the federal government's general fund and are spent on all sorts of programs and activities that have nothing to do with individuals' retirements.

@PrankerDemon It all questions the policy. Policy change for a broken system. There is no money to collect, even if you were to start collecting now.
and technically you could stop paying taxes, however the government has put harsh laws into place (by gun point) if you don't.

So, I don't get it exactly. What should I be doing here?
Do you mean that I should be collecting social security checks right now even though I'm 29 years old? Or that I should be, but the government won't let it happen until I'm old enough but even then it won't happen?
Also, how do we not "get owned"? It's not like we can stop paying taxes.
I'm just confused by all of this.
